Like a Rhodes, the cottage sleeps eight; and that's not counting the dockside Rhodes bunks

The waterside twin hallway has a LED lit dressing/mirrored siding doors to a walk-in closet.

Opposite the mirrored doors is the door to the Master bathroom.

Even the laundry room has bright florescent style LED lighting.

Beyond the glass is a small 6' cantilevered balcony.   If we stay, its steps will go to a large ground level waterfront deck.



The conversation pit focuses on the brick fireplace and one of three cable TVs 

(NC and VA PBS bring two consecutive hours of Lawrence Welk. Sat. nights.)

The street side concrete parking area can manage 4 cars.  Obviously we do not do

windows, grass or leaves.

The master bedroom is the same size as the guest room; small.  Each has a reasonable size closet, under bed drawer storage, space for chest of drawers, TV cable, air conditioning and  individual room heating controls for prefect sleeping comfort.

Turn around and the kitchen, with its French door fridge and farm sink and dishwasher and flush stove and its wonderful effective LED footlight ceiling lighting and additional storage/work counter space island, separate the living area from the bedroom, bath, laundry part of the home.     The Creek view and TV watching make meal prepping almost fun.   

          Hickory Street:  It's not quite this rustic or pretty but beats 42nd Street..                                                                       Entrance to 119 is through a living arch.
